I'd recommend using a 720p camera over a 1080p as it uses much less bandwidth and processing power but either way you'll need a very good internet connection and a good CPU too.

I use skype every day for text messaging and I use video messaging a few times a week as well and I could see a skype guitar lesson being a brilliant and very informative way to spend some time. Let us know how you get on.

Have you had the back off the pedal yet? If I remember correctly there may be two little pots in there to control various things,maybe an adjustment to one of them will do the trick?

If it's giving you gyp and you can afford to take a loss on it then why not have a look at the the true bypass mod and maybe consider giving it a go yourself? You get a kick when you find out you can do that kind of stuff after all... Maybe sticky…

Do a youtube search for a lesson on a song you want to learn and let the video show you the way a bit. After learning a few songs that way you'll find you ear is better and you'll start to know automatically what the chords are.

it's amazing what a bit of wood glue well applied can do,I'd have a go at it if I thought I could get good clamping pressure where it's needed

I agree with Jocko ,get a little mirror in there or your arm if it'll fit and see if any bracing appears/feels/looks loose.

I started with a bog standard Cry Baby which I found a bit limiting too but I'm happy with the 535Q,think I paid about £50 second hand on fleabay.
