I've almost come full circle after reading on the fretboard forum about the yamaha thr10. It's a tiny solid state modelling amp, but supposedly is excellent at it, much better than anything else!
All it has done is given me even more options to con…

Im following the L&M guitar course and love it. Just working my way through session 2 but can already tell it has had a positive effect on my playing! I am sure you will love it.
Some nice tastes in music too!
Welcome to the forum Shari! Im sure you will enjoy it here.
Out of interest, what books & DVD's did you purchase? Also, what are your musical influences?
Good idea Jocko!
At the moment i am currently working through session 2, the notes on the first 2 strings. Some days it goes really well, and i can play along with the metronome, then other days like last night, my fingers just wont do what my brai…

I use gmail and there should be a spam folder. That's where the confirmation went for myself. In the folder list there should be a junk folder I think it's called, it may have gone there.
Im a big cyclist, both road cycling and mountain biking. I am also a keen gamer too, so play a lot of online games (i waste so much time doing this when i could be doing so much more other stuff).

Cheers guys, i do have a strap on it, but it is a very cheap ebay thing. Also, im guessing it may be a little too loose so it doesnt support it properly. I think ill nip to Dawsons on my lunch and see if i can pick up a decent quality leather strap …
I caved! I purchased the L&M course after watching a few of Steve Krenz's videos on youtube! I really liked his demeanor and his approach to the lessons. Plus it teaches you how to read music, which i am greatly interested in.
I also picked up…
Justin Sandercoe is the chap ive been using http://justinguitar.com/index.php all lessons are online free, though you can purchase books too. I found the beginners course book and beginner song book to be very helpful indeed as they are broken down …
I had a fender frontman, it came with a pacifica i bought and it wasnt very good. I found it very difficult to get a decent tone out of it, so when i moved the pacifica on, i moved the frontman on too.
I now have a mustang 1, which is very good for…
I cant resist the urge to buy more! I currently own 4 guitars, definitely need to get rid of one (the Cort) but would like a tele and a strat, but i have promised the missus it will be one in one out, and have no space to hang a 5th guitar!
The body shape is certainly interesting, i like it, looking forward to seeing it once it has been carved.
With regards to your strat, i love it! I was in Dawson's yesterday looking at the strats and teles and they just did not compare, looks wise t…
I have been very, very tempted by the blackstar ht5 mini stack recently after trying one at the local dawsons! I fell in love pretty much instantly but, felt it too much for practicing in my little man cave especially when I already have mustang 1. …
