Oh man, that's awful   <img src="/forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif" alt="\:\(" title="frown" height="15" width="15" />   I met Eric and had a lesson with him when I'd only been playing (mainly classical) for about six months. Not only a great teacher and amazing player, teaching me some really good things, but one of the nicest people I've ever had the privalage to meet. Was thinking back on it the other day about when we got talking about Deep Purple after his gig that night, great chap. He clearly loved his family and it's a horrible loss for them, and the music world. He played Smells Like Dead Rock Star (his cover of Teen Spirit) amazingly to show me something and he was a fantastic performer even to an audience of one. Rest in peace man.<br /><br />I dug out the album he signed for me (he did his then new album Spin for my dad, and I have that too) and here it is.
