    The Music Radar forum has been dead for some time, so some enterprising chaps from the membership have setup a replacement so the members can have control and not be beholden to the gods of future publishing.

      Just joined up on thefretboard.co.uk (as "Megii") and no confirmation email received - I've clicked on the "resend confirmation email" box several times - no luck. And now I can't see any of the categories, or post anything, can't contact anyone on the forum to help, plus apparently have no way of logging out... Please help sticky, or anyone else, if you see this! eek grin

      EDIT - OK, did just calm down, and figured out how to log out lol, whereupon all the categories became visible again - not much help because I'm logged out so can't post... But still no conformation email received, so I will be unable to use this forum for the foreseeable, which is sad for me, it looks like a good place. I don't have a spam box, or spam filter on my email, so it's not that, and I've checked, and I did post my correct email address (it's a Google gmail one). Anyone else had similar problems?

      I use gmail and there should be a spam folder. That's where the confirmation went for myself. In the folder list there should be a junk folder I think it's called, it may have gone there.

      Cheers zog! Guess what - it was indeed in a junk folder, called "Spam" - I didn't even know that such a folder existed - there is also one called "Trash" which I did know about. Ah well, it's all Google's fault then, for making their email service so complicated.... whistle blush . But cheers for solving that one for me! Now I just have to figure out how to stop gmail putting messages from thefretboard into the spam folder, and all will be well... smile

      When you click into the email from the fretboard, at the top there should be a button which says 'not spam' click that and it should remove it from the spam folder and any future mails should drop into your email box.
