RIP Chuck Loeb

Sad to find out today that this great jazz guitarist has died at 61. I only discovered his playing and music myself a couple of years ago, but liked his music immediately - it was largely what you'd call smooth jazz, but very hip, and with this cool New York kind of vibe, impeccable top notch musicianship. From watching a few of his guitar education videos, he seemed like a lovely chap as well.

    Cool vibe and tasteful indeed.
I'll admit I hadn't heard Chuck Loeb before, but it's always sad to hear of a good musicians passing, even more so when they're younger than me.
61 is way too young to be leaving - RIP.

Man. That bassist is so humongous you don't see him at first.

Not my kind of thing but great stuff to slip off to an early grave to.

    Schmoooth !
