ok, ive never ever posted videos of me playing guitar anywhere before (by play i mean, strangle) but i figured i should do my bit for the musical community as there's bugger all about Zenta amps anywhere online, so i guess its up to me to attempt to be the informative one for once? i like weird sounds and get a bit carried away with the craziness a couple of times here (i tried to restrain myself) and im one of the worst guitarists ever, but i think i demonstrate reasonably that the amps are worth checking out if you should come across one such as i did.the camera doesnt really do it any justice and makes it sound much brighter. although the tone on the amp doesnt go as dark as it could, the speaker is in a comparatively large cabinet, so if if you use pedals etc. it actually resonates really well. However, a little part of me does have its concerns as to whether or not it IS the original speaker. but the guy i bought it off says he's never mucked about with it and it still how it was when he bought it.
As far as im aware Zenta were manufactured in the same factory as Teisco and a couple of other Japanese budget brands in the 70's
its solid state, and as i say in the video.... stop being religious about valves! they are completely different sounds! neither is better nor worse, its all down to what sound you want! i am rather fond of those harsh biting, brittle solid state tones you can get, but i love valve overdrive, so this and that micro terror will go on an A/B/Y switch soon enough!
it sounds quite fendery at times, dont you think?
anyway, enough jibber jabbering, any questions about it, feel free to ask or talk about it. have a nice day!
i should probably apologise for some of my choices of words during this video. i probably should... nah.

It sounds a little harsh for my tastes [regardless of your playing style, ofuco]... have you ever tried a Roland Cube?
I'll have a listen later, YT is blocked at work.

it was mostly set pretty brighter than i should of had it for this demo, but the camera does emphasise it. yeh, a couple of friends use the roland cube. i cant stand amp modeling and multi FX myself i just get overwhelmed with OPTION PARALYSIS! and never explore them fully. my friends get good sounds out of them though! i'll do something with darker tones for you perhaps
