Ok, so I know I've not been on lately, mainly cause I've just had so much going on I've not really had the time, which has really bugged me, but stuff has to get done I suppose. Anyway, I managed to get tickets to see Brian May and Kerry Ellis at the Albert Hall on Sunday, and tried to take a few photos through the gig.

Thought I'd start a thread dedicated to sharing your favourite photos from gigs everyone has been to, would be interesting to see everyone's different tastes and influences.

Here's one of my favourite shots from the gig

So let's see some more images people!

This is my 'favourite gig photo'
Not taken by me, it's one of me.
I'm the one dressed in gold.

Have not been here for too long, lots going on in my little life! Here's a favourite of me and I'll get some of my other gig pics posted, there are also a couple from last years Kenilworth Festival I took.

I really want to ask what the story behind this pic is, but I'm kind of scared to know the answer. There's all manner of fashion crimes being committed and if I didn't know better I'd say you were doing some sort of freaky dancing. \:o

    Yes, I'm dancing
Yes I look great ;\) The rulebook goes out the window on stage.
I could have posted A LOT worse \:\)

It was 15 years ago though.

You're definitely right about the rulebook. Don't think I'll be posting the photos of my 80s stage getup, think it would scar everyone for life, haha

I played my Stagg fretless bass in a band for 4 years. This was at a festival in 2012.

Playing my Burny jazz archtop with my wife on piano and a colleague of hers on drums. This was part of the music school's end of year concert in May 2016.

Very Narcissistic of me, but this is my favourite one of me playing live

This was me playing at my own 40th Birthday party. Well it was my ball, so if I couldn't play with it I was going home!

    Downhill from here, Dave.

    Well, 46 actually (I'm 52)

You're over the weekend - just about to start the monday of the second week of your annual holiday.

And we all know how fast it goes from there !

    Zooooom.

I'm afraid that photo was taken over 10 years ago. I'm 51 now

The last photo I have of me playing a proper gig was... 22 years ago !

I'd have to scan it in but it's really not worth doing.
